I was reading the Bible this morning when a verse struck me.

Job 3:25 KJV
[25] For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

From the verse we could say that Job became a victim of his thoughts. He was constantly anxious and was so full of fear that he attracted evil and negativity to his life. Such evil that may be the greatest yet to happen to man.

It’s easy to dwell on the things that aren’t working in our lives; the almost due rent, the cheating partner, the stagnant career, and wallow so much in these thoughts that we lose ourselves and become shadows.

But worrying over things that aren’t working won’t change a thing. Instead, choose to dwell on those that are working. Commend yourself for the things you have done right, dwell on the positive things and people in your life.

Just take a pen and book right now and list the good things in your life, no matter how small. Meditate on them and praise God for them.

You are strong, intelligent, bold, and full of confidence. Don’t let your present situation tell you otherwise.
